When engaged in individual therapy, we will meet on a regular basis to address your mental health and wellness needs. We will establish a mutually agreed upon treatment plan and review your progress each session. If there is a need that I feel I cannot assist you with, I will provide a referral to another provider.
Individual DBT Coaching
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is a widely accepted and evidenced-based therapy used to treat a variety of mental health concerns. Through individual coaching of specific mindful and behavioral skills, many people find that internal stress is reduced and they are more effective in their lives.This service also includes two 10-minute phone call check-ins per week.
I offer several different groups each week with the goal of building and sharing in community of mutual hope and help. These are small groups with 4-8 members and all members will have an initial consultation before joining the group. Groups are typically 75 minutes in length. Current group offerings include:
Obtaining helpful and meaningful clinical supervision is critical in order to reach LICSW status. I am an experienced clinical supervisor who will work with you on reaching your professional goals by establishing a timely supervision schedule and completing all necessary documentation.
Evaluation and Clinical assessment
This service is a one session appointment of 90 minutes that will provide information, potential diagnosis, and my recommendations for further care. This may include individual or group therapy, a referral to a another provider (nutritionist, psychopharmacologist, a treatment facility), or some general guidelines on wellness.
Initial phone consultation (15 mins)
A brief, no-cost initial phone consult will help us both evaluate which type of therapy will best meet your goals. This is an important first step in our working relationship and is required for all new clients.
